15 Differences We All Notice Between Our Parents And Grandmothers
6Disappointment is different for grandmas
Moms and dads may get upset when a kid does poorly on a test or doesn’t win a game in school. But grandmas get upset when a kid doesn’t want to eat or says they ate before. Grandmas love feeding their grandkids and to them, this is their form of love.
When kids grow up, parents are skeptical about them moving out. They feel protective and worry about their child. But a grandma will always support the decision. Maybe they’ll even influence the grandkids to move closer to them! They love watching their grandkids grow and move out into the world.
8They protect us
This is a known fact. When our parents are too angry with us or aren’t allowing us to do something, the first person we think of calling is our grandma. She is older than our parents and therefore they have to listen to her. Grandmas protect us and when parents scold us, grandma scolds them.
9Grandmas are not tech-savvy
Our parents are quite tech-savvy and understand how to use hones and Wi-Fi. But or grandmas are a generation older than them and they are not very tech-savvy. Our parents can just watch something on their phones but our grandmas can’t use phones properly.
10Grandmas only think of knitting
Every grandma loves to knit. This is something that requires time and patience and they have plenty of both. In fact, on any occasion, they will probably gift you a scarf or sweater. They will also knit at the first chance they get. Many grandmas can knit using chopsticks and noodles.
