5Genetics and culture

The genetics and culture also affect the handedness of a person. In some cultures, it is taught to kids that they should perform some acts like eating etc with their right hands so they start using their right hand more than the left hand. Genes can also affect handedness but partially only as a study of identical twins proved that handedness can be different despite same genes.

7Great memory

It is being said that lefties have great memory power so if your wife or husband is left-handed than there are good chances that he/she will remember all the important events/etc. In those days when everything is being noted down in smart phones, being able to remember most of the things is definitely something to be proud of.

8The test

A test was carried out in order to find out whether the left-handers have better memory or the right-handers. In this test, 62 participants took part and they were shown a series of 55 words on the screen on computers and later on they were asked to write down those words.

It was observed that those people who were left-handers or there was left-handedness in their family had better memory and they were able to write down more words. Hence, it was proved that left-handed people have better memory than right-handed people.
