Labor Pain Simulator Gives Men A Taste Of The Pain Women Go Through
Boys have always been told that they are stronger than females. It has reached such a point that when a boy gets beaten by a girl or woman even in the virtual world it is taken to be something to be embarrassed about. This is not fair and something that should be removed from the minds of people.
Women have their own problems and pains that no man will ever have to face. Men do not know the pain every woman goes through during menstruation and even childbirth. But, thanks to technology they can now feel what women go through when they’re giving birth.
1A painful experience
Every woman who has experienced the pain of childbirth knows how unbearable it is. But men have a habit of downplaying things women feel, and one is their capability to tolerate pain (which childbirth amply demonstrates). This makes women secretly wish that men could experience it themselves so they wouldn’t say things like ‘it’s not that bad’ or ‘you can do this’.
2A woman’s dream come true
A machine called a labor simulator is now available and this does exactly what it says. Women can watch their husbands experience the simulation of labor pain. Two men took on the challenge with their wives watching. It was finally revealed whether men are as strong as they claim and whether they can indeed handle labor pain more easily than women.
3What is a labor simulator?
A labor simulator is a machine that is hooked up to attach some electrical nodes to the muscles in the abdomen region. These nodes send electrical impulses causing muscles to contract. Remember that this is just a simulator and cannot deliver the exact same experience. But this is about as close to experiencing childbirth as men can get.
4The actual process
The two men who took up the challenge were hooked up to the simulator and began to experience labor. There was a supervising doctor who eased them into labor, adjusting the contractions. This is similar to what women feel at the beginning of labor. Eventually, she started to raise the level of pain and the contractions, similar to the real thing.
5The supporting wives
Both men had their wives present there. They were supportive and tried to help them through the pain. But they did laugh a little too. How could they not laugh? At some point, they must have wished that their spouse would experience the pain of childbirth too. After all, both are parents but only one has to experience physical pain.
