How Long Can A Human Survive On Each Planet Of The Solar System

The way we are surging ahead in science and especially space technology with big countries and bigger brands giving us a head lift, it might be possible for us to be space travellers within our lifetime. Having said that, we also know that we cannot live on any other planet without lifesaving devices such as masks and body suits with oxygen pumps etc. but in an unlikely future if human beings can also manage to manipulate the atmosphere around us in each planet so that we can breathe without any mask or walk about without any protective gear, than how long do we reckon we can survive on each of this planets?

It may sound out of a science fiction novel but human imagination had made many things possible which were unthinkable even 100 years back so let’s go on this fantastical journey and guess our life conditions in each of the planets of our solar system.

1Mercury

To survive in this planet, we all need a timer as the temperature fluctuations are simply insane here. While day time temperature can soar up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit, the moment it rotates away from sun it freezes down to –290-degreeFahrenheits.

2What would be the best time to survive?

This means that the best time would be the transitional rotator phase and the location of the planet between the day and night time which can be achievable as the rate of Mercurial rotation is slow as compared to Earth. As far as the calculations go its 90 seconds at most which you can spend in Mercury before you either burn to a crisp or freeze to pop sickle.

3Venus

Venus may be considered a symbol of beauty but the planet itself will kill you most ruthlessly that too within a second that you set foot there at all. It’s really hard to pinpoint which would be the fastest agent of death for a human in Venus?

4Air pressure or acid rain

It may be the air pressure which is 90 times greater than Earth or the fact that the atmosphere is 98% carbon dioxide or rather it would be the sulphuric acid rain which will be the real undoing for the man on Venus which also takes up the temperature of this so called “Beautiful” planet to 800 degree Fahrenheits.
