5 Types of Belly That Aren’t Due to Excess Weight and How to Get Rid of Them
Most women want to look perfect but if there is one thing that can be a major obstacle to that is a belly that is out of shape. In spite of abiding by magical diets and exercises, your belly remains the same. What most people don’t know is that a large abdomen isn’t always due to one particular reasons but a number of them. There are different types of belly that could be due to sugar intake and build-up of abdominal fat, it could due to stress or it could be due to bloating. On the advice of expert coaches, here are the possible reasons for your large belly and what to do about it.
While many don’t mind them and of course your partner won’t, still love handles may be too bulgy for any woman’s liking. The most distinguishing feature of love handles are cushions on the sides. The main reasons for developing love handles are a sedentary lifestyle, eating too many sugary foods, excess alcohol like beer, excess sugar, refined carbohydrate, like cookies, cakes, white bread burgers, pasta, rice and processed meat.
2How to get rid of it:
Reducing your alcohol consumption would be a good way to start because drinking too many glasses of wine in a week leads to “wine waist” that also gives you a potbelly and fatty looking sides. First completely stop drinking alcohol altogether for at least 2 weeks and then practice moderation. Next, modify your diet and remove special dietary products and low-fat foods. You could be eating too much thinking they don’t contribute to weight. Eat more lawn meat, fruits and vegetables. Include healthy fats in your diet like omega 3’s sourced from avocados, fatty fish like salmon and nuts like almonds.
Exercise is a must to reduce love handles so find time to do so. You don’t really need to go to the gym, just brisk one-hour walks, and a home routine that includes side stretches, lunges, squats, knee-ups and reverse push-ups. By physical exercise and proper diet, your belly and love handles will reduce in size.
Among different types of belly, the distinguishing feature of a stress belly is fat concentrated around the belly button with the belly not bulging loosely but thick. The main reasons are chronic stress creating higher levels of cortisol. You most probably miss meals, drink too much coffee, experience irritable bowel syndrome and eat unhealthy snacks like potato chips, salted nuts etc. Lack of sleep is also another reason.
