Study Discovers the Coronavirus Is Camouflaging Itself to Target Your Cells Which Is Why It Is So Infectious
7More new aspects of the coronavirus risk factors
Scientists are finding new things about the coronavirus every day. In one study it was found that bald men over forty were more at risk of contracting the virus. That is something to worry about and was not just an assumption. Researchers found that baldness was a risk factor of COVID-19 and men who were bald were 40% more likely to end up in hospital because of the virus.
8Bald men were more at risk
The research by a dermatology team at West Virginia University involving hair patterns of almost 2000 British men was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. It found 20% men with no hair tested positive for the virus compared to 15% men with hair. However, the experts said that more research was needed and that there could be other factors why bald men were getting infected or dying more from COVID-19.
9The only way to stay safe
It goes without saying that the only way to stay safe from the coronavirus is awareness. Visit your country’s healthcare website such as the CDC (Center for disease control and prevention). Read about the valid official symptoms of the virus instead of listening to myths. Practice social distancing, wear a mask in public, wash your hands and stay home as much as possible. Keep an alcohol-based sanitizer with you at all times.
