Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce were working for the same brand when they met in Milan in 1980 and decided to create their own fashion line five years later. When Tommy was just 20-years-old he started his own clothing line which unfortunately went bankrupt in just 5 years. He moved to the fashion capital of the US, New York City and began working for several different brands. At 28 he started his own line again called ‘Tommy Hill’ and today is one of the most recognizable fashion brand names in the world.

3Stella McCartney

Seeing her name most people will relate her to the bassist of ‘The Beatles’ Sir Paul McCartney and that is correct. She is the daughter of the legendary musician but proved to be much more than that. At the tender age of 13, she began designing jackets and today is known worldwide for her feminine, soft clothes that do not use leather or fur.

He was born in New York City and attended the High School of Art and Design as well as studied at the Parsons School of Design. The label name Marc Jacobs is world famous for its feminine and at times quirky style. In 2016, he was honored as Womenswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

5Roland Mouret

He was born in France and studied at a fashion college in Paris for just three months after finishing high school. He lacked technical skills from the start but that did not stop his motivation. In 2006 he got his big break when his Galaxy dress from his Spring collection became the dress of the year. After this many celebrities fell for Roland’s stunning designs.
