Bald Men Are More Masculine, Attractive and Desirable Says Research Study
5Baldness was associated with low self-esteem but not any more
For decades, male baldness has been associated to low self-esteem and self-consciousness which is why a few decades ago, men were into wigs as a way to conceal their hair loss. It could also cause anxiety and depression with many spending loads of money to try and retain their hair or resort to remedies that promised cures and new hair growth.
6Bald is an amazing look as some celebrities will show you
But today is a different story. Baldness could actually do something amazing for your look that you never realized. Look at Vin Diesel, Seal or Dwayne Johnson for that matter. Just shaving off those remaining tufts of hair and going for the shiny clean bald look and showing off your crown could be the best thing that happened to you.
7What a study revealed
Dr. Frank Muscarella from Barry University in Florida says that the bald look is in. In a study by him, male volunteers were rated in four quadrants that governed their looks. These were attractiveness, appeasement, social maturity, honesty, intelligence and aggressiveness. The study included two groups where one group had pictures of men with a full crop of hair while the other also featured the same men but with their hair digitally removed.
The results were interesting. Several people from the group found that the bald look made men appear more honest, stronger and intelligent. The study also found that bald men looked more masculine and sexier.
8It is time to celebrate baldness
If there has come a time to celebrate baldness, it is now. No more is baldness a factor for anxiety or a thing of concern because it is a look where many even choose to shave off their hair for the look. Many may feel that the condition is not an ideal one but now at least even if you are experiencing baldness, you can be more confident knowing that it is also a fashion statement and a style that can make you look good. It is no more a thing of social pity.
