But, the performance Robert gave in the movie garnered critical acclaim, winning him the BAFTA Award for Best Actor. He was even nominated for an Oscar.
Tolkien was the 2019 American biographical drama based on the life of English professor J. R. R. Tolkien. The lead role was played by Nicholas Hoult. The movie was good with a great performance by the actor. But, the family did not approve of the movie or participate in its making which was a huge controversy.
‘The Founder’ released in 2016 was a biographical drama film that told the story of the creation of the McDonald’s fast-food restaurant chain. The movie was praised for its performances and story but the stand out praise was for Keaton and his work as Ray Kroc in the movie.
‘Einstein and Eddington’ starred Arthur Stanley Eddington, and Andy Serkis as Albert Einstein. The movie was about the story of Einstein’s general theory of relativity, his relationship with Eddington. The movie was well-received and Andy’s performance as the legendary genius was praised by critics and fans. Many however were skeptical on Andy’s casting as Einstein.
Austin Butler was chosen to play the Rock and Roll idol Elvis for Baz Luhrmann’s untitled Elvis Presley biopic set to release in 2021. The movie will tell the life story of the legendary singer. The movie will also star Tom Hanks, who is playing Presley’s manager, Col. Tom Parker. Other actors were picked for the role but few believed Austin would get it.
