He is the heir apparent to the Moroccan throne as he is the elder child of King Mohammed VI of Morocco and Princess Lalla Salma. He has a younger sister, Princess Lalla Khadija. He was named after his grandfather Hassan II. Which means that when he rules he will be known as Hassan III.
King Mohammed VI of Morocco and Princess Lalla Salma proclaimed their marriage on October 12, 2001, and on March 21, 2002, they were married. The King was 54-years-old while his bride was 39-years-old. They had two children together Moulay Hassan, Crown Prince of Morocco, and Princess Lalla Khadija of Morocco.

She is the elder child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. She is second in line to succeed her grandfather King Harald V. She will become the country’s second female monarch, after the 15th-century Queen Margaret. She was born on 21 January 2004.
Haakon married a commoner and single mother Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby on 25 August 2001. The ceremony took place at the Oslo Cathedral. Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark was the best man. When the marriage was announced the citizen felt that the choice of wife was wrong as she was a single mother. But that did not stop the Prince from marrying her.
