1What grains of sand look like when magnified 100 to 300 times

Gary Greenberg, a Ph.D. in Biomedical research regards himself as a scientist with almost 18 US patents in his name. He also invented a high definition 3D lens that can take magnified pictures. According to him the secrets of nature lie everywhere and such miracles can also be seen under a microscope. According to him, when we commune with nature, “We become conscious of our connection with the universe”. That being said, this is a macro-picture of magnified sand grains taken on a beach in Hawaii. Did you realize that sand could look so beautiful? Sand composition can vary from location to location but this is extremely amazing.

2The local nursing home is an indoor town

Believe it or not but the picture below is a beautiful mini town in Hamilton OH and is actually a medical and rehab nursing facility for senior people. Called Doverwood Village, it has 24-hour medical care that includes rehabilitation as well with exercises, strength and balance training and individual exercise programs. It also has a movie theatre that shows movies twice daily.

3Rocks on Lake Baikal

Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia is indeed a mysterious place. During the day when the sun starts to melt the water beneath the rock, it doesn’t penetrate the area immediately below the innermost part of the rock and as a result by evening the water freezes and turns solid again resulting in a small pillar of ice on which rocks stand. It looks almost artificial and is called the Baikal Dzen.

4A musical typewriter

This is a typewriter created to type music. It was marketed in the 1950’s and cost about $255. It was created to print characters on staff to indicate the location of each character for more accuracy. Thus in doing so, it ended up becoming circular in nature and the circular keyboard is what gives it the unique and distinct look.
